continue to develop over the coastal waters and move onshore
generally north of Shelter Cove. This activity will affect areas
including Capetown, Fortuna, Eureka, Arcata, McKinleyville, Orick,
and Crescent City. Residents can expect gusty winds, deadly
cloud-to-ground lightning, heavy downpours, and possibly small
hail in thunderstorms. The threat of small hail is expected to
increase through the afternoon hours.
