Through 5 PM, a large shield of rain with embedded thunderstorms
will gradually dissipate across the far southern Texas Panhandle,
with isolated to scattered showers and a few thunderstorms
continuing farther south along the Interstate 27 and Highway 87
corridor. Additional rainfall up to 1/2 inch will be possible 
through late afternoon.
