At 730 AM MDT, local law enforcement reported heavy snow and 
resultant accidents at the top of Parleys Canyon. Heavy snow showers 
are also impacting other mountain routes this morning from around 
6500 feet elevation and higher such as the Cottonwood Canyons. Use 
extra caution on any mountain routes as heavier snow showers are 
sticking to roads early this morning. Snow shower intensities should 
subside within the next few hours and combined with sunrise and 
mitigation efforts should reduce the threat of road snow. 

This includes Parleys Summit, Cottonwood Canyons, Soldier Summit, 
Daniels Summit, and portions of I-80.
