along a line extending from near Downtown Suffolk to Newsoms to near 
Brunswick, moving east at 10 mph.

These showers will be near... 
  Boykins, Newsoms and Whaleyville around 300 PM EDT.
  Franklin around 350 PM EDT.
  Dahlia around 400 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these showers include Ante, Brink,
Handsom, Triplet, Lanes Corner, Suffolk Airport, Slates Corner,
Bryants Corner, Saunders and Cleopus.

Motorists should use extra caution in the vicinity of these
showers...and be prepared for rapid changes in weather and road
conditions. Heavy rain could cause ponding of water on roads...and
possible minor flooding of ditches and poor drainage areas.

Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these showers.
Lightning can strike more than 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
