At 836 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a band of heavy rain showers 
along a line extending from near Kewaunee to Green Bay to 10 miles 
north of Amherst, moving east at 15 mph.

The heavier showers are producing brief torrential rainfall reducing 
visibilities to 1 mile at times. Very high rainfall rates will 
quickly create ponding of water on area roads with perhaps some 
minor flooding in low-lying areas. This area has already seen 
anywhere from 2 to 4 inches of rainfall overnight. 

Locations impacted include...
Green Bay, DePere, Appleton, Manitowoc, Waupaca, Kewaunee, Menasha, 
Kaukauna, Little Chute, New London and Kimberly.

Be aware of low visibilities and ponding of water on area roads. Slow 
down to avoid possibility of hydroplaning.

The heavy rain showers are expected to become more isolated toward 
the noon hour.
