...All Rivers Remain Below Flood Stage...
 
Low pressure and related upper-level energy is dropping southeast 
into the forecast area today, and will continue to affect the area
through Friday as it slowly sinks to the south. With a very warm, 
moist and unstable airmass in place, scattered afternoon and evening 
showers and thunderstorms will develop both days.  

Rainfall amounts will likely vary considerably across the area.
The most significant threat will be for short-lived flooding of 
roads, urban and low-lying areas associated with slow-moving 
thunderstorm cores. 

High pressure will restrengthen Saturday through Sunday, with more
isolated showers and thunderstorms expected during the weekend. 
A period of more active weather may then develop on Monday and 
Tuesday as low pressure deepens across the Eastern US.

Minor fluctuations are likely across area rivers through Sunday, 
with some uncertainty thereafter.
