However, levels are expected to remain below established flood stages, and any overflow along the river should be of minor nature. The Tallapoosa River at Wadley. * At 3:00 PM CST Tuesday the stage was 13.5 feet. * Action stage is 13.0 feet. * Flood stage is 13.0 feet. * Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.9 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. * Impact...At 13.0 feet...Flooding of pasture lands in the area occurs and cattle and farm equipment should be moved to higher ground if higher stages are forecast.
