...High Flows along the Lower Sacramento River System...

.Recent rainfall has resulted in high flows along the Lower 
Sacramento River. The Sacramento Weir at Fremont Weir will remain 
above action stage for the next several days.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and 
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage. 
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid 
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

Sacramento River At
 Fremont Weir 12/26 1:15 stage 32.8 ft
Present overflow depth is about 0.8 FT then overflow depth at weir 
increasing to 0.8 FT late this afternoon then overflow to remain 
near depth of 1.3 FT into early Sunday afternoon.
 Monitor stage 32.0 ft, Flood stage 39.5
Impact for Fremont Weir...Near 33.1 feet, At one foot of overflow, 
the river road to Woodland is closed due to flooding.
Near 32.0 feet, Fremont Weir crest elevation. Overflow begins into 
the Yolo Bypass flooding agricultural lands.
