...A statement concerning the Turkey and Upper Iowa Rivers...

Forecast rainfall is expected to cause rises on area rivers, streams 
and creeks. No flooding is expected at this time, but these forecast 
are based on forecast rainfall. If less or more rainfall is received 
this weekend, the forecast stages will also change. In addition, ice 
jamming is possible, which could lead to rapid changes at some 
locations.

Turkey River at Elkader...The stage this morning was  6.30 feet. 
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.50 feet 
Monday morning, which is below flood stage.

Turkey River at Garber...The stage this morning was  7.32 feet. Flood
stage is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.50 feet Monday 
evening, which is below flood stage.

Upper Iowa River at Dorchester Hwy 76...The stage this morning was  
7.78 feet. Flood stage is 14.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 
11.50 feet Monday evening, which is below flood stage.
