.Recent heavy rains will flow through streams, rivers, and
tributaries through this weekend and into next week. This will
result in modest rises on the Mississippi River this weekend and 
into next week. Light rain showers are expected to begin late 
Saturday night across northern Minnesota, including the Mississippi
River headwaters and remain possible through much of the upcoming 
week. People with interests near area streams and rivers are 
encouraged to monitor the latest forecast.
