...A crest near flood stage is forecast for the following locations 
along the Canadian River...

  For the Canadian River near Bridgeport...
  
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  
* The latest stage was 12.54 feet at 7 PM Thursday.
  
* The Canadian River is forecast to crest near 13.0 feet 
  Friday evening.
  
* Impact...When the Canadian River reaches 13 feet near Bridgeport...
  Some brief flooding may occur over croplands and pastures near the 
  river in southern Blaine...northern Caddo...and southwestern 
  Canadian counties. Low-lying bottomlands near the river may be cut 
  off from easy access by high water in side channels.



  People in flood prone areas should continue to monitor water 
  levels...and be prepared to seek higher ground should water levels
  rise suddenly.  Stay tuned for further information by listening to 
  weather radio or local media sources.
