Forecast rain is expected to result in rises on area rivers, streams 
and creeks. However, no flooding is expected at these locations at 
this time.  

Root River at Houston...The stage this morning was  5.09 feet. Flood 
stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 12.00 feet 
Wednesday evening, which is below flood stage.

South Branch Root River at Lanesboro...The stage this morning was  
2.87 feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 
10.00 feet Wednesday morning, which is below flood stage.
