Water levels can be expected to rise on the Coldwater River...
Tallahatchie River.         
   

At 11 AM Saturday, the stage on the Tallahatchie River near Lambert 
was 29.0 feet and rising. Flood stage is 32.0 feet. At 32.0 feet, 
Low-lying farmland in northern Quitman County is flooded..  

At 11 AM Saturday, the stage on the Coldwater River near Sarah was 
4.8 feet and rising. Flood stage is 18.0 feet. At 18.0 feet, 
Low-lying farm land near the river begins to flood..  

At 11 AM Saturday, the stage on the Coldwater River at Marks was 34.4
feet and rising. Flood stage is 39.0 feet. At 39.0 feet, Low-lying 
farm land is flooded in northern Quitman County..  

The next River Statement will be issued Sunday or sooner if conditions
warrant.
