...Water levels will approach flood stage along the Little Blue River
near Deweese...

The recent heavy rainfall will cause significant within bank rises
on the Little Blue River in southeast Adams, southern Clay, northern
Nuckolls and Thayer counties through Friday. In some cases, the river
may be near flood in some spots. Near Deweese, the river is forecast
to crest around 9.2 feet at 7 AM Friday. Near Dewese, with a river
stage of 10.0 feet...Water overflows rural agricultural land and
reaches the base of several buildings located 1.5 miles east of Deweese.

The river is likely to remain high through Sunday across the area.

Be prepared to move to higher ground if need be due to the increased
river flow.
