.The following river forecasts include forecast precipitation through
tonight. Any additional future rains could affect the crest 
forecasts. 
 
Elevated and fluctuating river levels between Hawarden and Akron due
to recent snow melt runoff and ice action will continue the next couple
days. River levels will remain near bank-full with fluctuations up to a 
foot causing minor flooding of agricutural lands near the bends of the
river.

* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* The river is expected to fluctuate around 12 feet for the next
  couple days.
