Here are a few places around the region and their stages now and what is expected. At 8 PM Saturday, the stage on the L'anguille River at Palestine was 21.6 feet and rising and may reach 24 feet in the next few days. Flood stage is 25.0 feet. At 25.0 feet, Flooding of large areas of agricultural land along the river is occurring. At 9 PM Saturday, the stage on the Obion River near Obion was 23.6 feet and rising and may reach near 30 feet in the next few days. Flood stage is 34.0 feet. At 9 PM Saturday, the stage on the North Fork Forked Deer River at Dyersburg was 7.1 feet and rising and may reach near 15 feet. Flood stage is 22.0 feet. At 9 PM Saturday, the stage on the Hatchie River near Bolivar was 8.9 feet and rising. and may reach 14 feet on a couple days. Flood stage is 18.0 feet. At 9 PM Saturday, the stage on the Little Tallahatchie Canal at Etta near New Albany was 15.6 feet and rising and may reach 23 feet. Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
