...Snow Melt and Runoff Creating Increased Flows on Local
Rivers...

Unseasonably warm temperatures the past few days have resulted in
increased snow melt and runoff into local streams and rivers. The
Snake River at Blackfoot and the Bear River near the Idaho-Utah
State line are both forecast to be near bank full conditions as
early as Wednesday morning and continue into this weekend. This is
very cold water and can over come anyone who falls in. It is that
time of year when we need to keep a close watch on children and
pets, slippery ground near the water can lead to accidents.
