...HEAVY RAIN AND FLOODING POSSIBLE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH THE END
OF THE NEW WEEK...

The SPCZ will move over the American Samoa region again in the 
new week, bringing the potential for widespread heavy rainfall as
early as Sunday night. Global model consensus depicts a more 
active SPCZ in the next few days compared to the activity seen 
last week through Monday. The duration for flooding conditions
will remain through the weekend and the intensity for showers may
likely be enhanced with a possible tropical cyclone development. 

Limited model skills and observations make it difficult to provide
rainfall amounts or pinpoint where the heaviest rain will fall.
