.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

There is a Moderate Risk of Rip Currents along Gulf-facing beaches 
today. 

A Heat Advisory is in effect from 2 PM to 8 PM today for portions
of the Brush Country. 

Heat index values are expected to reach 105 to 109 for rest of 
South Texas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

There is a Moderate Risk of Rip Currents along Gulf-facing beaches 
on Thursday.

Afternoon heat indices from 105-109 degrees are possible across the 
Coastal Plains and Brush Country each day.
