A few of the stronger storms could produce hail up to the size of quarters, but organized severe weather is not expected. Heavy downpours could result in localized flooding. Rain chances will diminish for most areas late tonight as the surface boundary eventually lifts north of the state. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms will impact the area through the upcoming weekend and into early next week. All modes of severe weather will be possible, but there remains some uncertainty regarding the overall timing and extent of the activity.
