A trough lies over Solomon Islands and links to a Tropical Low located west
of Vanuatu.

Forecast for the Western Region (Western, Choiseul and Isabel provinces) 

West to northwest winds at 10 to 20 knots with slight to moderate seas,
reaching 25knots at times later tomorrow. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms with rain areas.   

Further Outlook for Friday: West to northwest winds at 15 to 20 knots
increasing to 25knots at times.   

Forecast for the Central Region (Malaita, Guadalcanal and Central provinces)

West to northwest winds with 10 to 20 knots with slight to moderate seas,
reaching 25knots at times later tomorrow. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms with rain areas. Further Outlook for Friday: West to northwest
winds at 15 to 25 knots.    

Forecast for the Eastern Region (Makira, Temotu and Rennell/Bellona
provinces)

West to northwest winds at 10 to 20 knots with slight to moderate seas
reaching 25 knots with moderate to rough seas over waters of Rennell/Bellona
and low to moderate west to northwest swells. Scattered showers, rain areas
and thunderstorms. Further Outlook for Friday: Westerly winds at 15 to 25
knots. Low to moderate westerly swells.

Forecast for Honiara port & surrounding areas

Northwest to northeast winds at 05 to 15 knots with smooth to slight seas.
Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms. Further Outlook
for Friday: Northeast to northwest winds at 05 to 15 knots.
