A trough lies just north of the Solomon Islands whilst a general
southeasterly wind flow persists south of the trough.

Forecast for the Western Region (Western, Choiseul and Isabel provinces) 

South to southeast winds at 15 to 20 knots reaching 25 knots at times over
waters south of western, Choiseul and Isabel with moderate to rough seas and
moderate southerly swells. Isolated showers tending scattered with
thunderstorms over waters north of Choiseul and Isabel. Further Outlook for
Tuesday: Southwest to southeast winds 10 to 20 knots reaching 25 knots at
times and moderate southerly swells. 

Forecast for the Central Region (Malaita, Guadalcanal and Central provinces)

South to southeast winds at 15 to 25 knots over waters south of Malaita,
Russell Islands and Guadalcanal with moderate to rough seas and moderate
southerly swells. Isolated showers tending scattered with thunderstorms over
waters of Ontong Java and north of Malaita. Further Outlook for Tuesday:
Southwest to southeast winds 10 to 20 knots reaching 25 knots at times and
moderate southerly swells. 

Forecast for the Eastern Region (Makira, Temotu and Rennell/Bellona
provinces)

East to southeast winds 20 to 25 knots over waters of Rennell/Bellonna and
Temotu provinces, and water south of Makira with moderate to rough seas and
moderate southerly swells. Scattered showers and thunderstorms over Temotu
waters, tending isolated elsewhere. Further Outlook for Tuesday: Southwest
to southeast winds 15 to 20 knots reaching 25 knots at times and moderate
southerly swells.

North to northeast winds at 10 to 15 knots with slight seas. Mostly fine.
