.Synopsis...Low pressure well to the NW of area near 27N167W will
begin moving N tonight into Thursday. It will then continue well
N of the area Thursday night into Friday. Over the western half,
light to moderate south to southeast winds prevail through Friday
then diminish to variable light winds into the weekend. Over the
eastern half, mostly moderate to locally fresh southeast winds
persist through the forecast period. Heavy showers and the chance
for thunderstorms persist into the weekend, especially over the
northwest half of the area.

.TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas
5 to 7 feet. Scattered to numerous showers. Isolated 
thunderstorms through Wednesday night, mainly around Kauai.
.THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY...East southeast winds 15 to 20 knots.
Seas 5 to 7 feet. Scattered showers.  
.FRIDAY NIGHT...South southeast winds to 10 knots to Kauai...east
southeast 15 to 20 knots elsewhere. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Scattered
showers. 
.SATURDAY...Southeast winds to 10 knots to Kauai...east southeast
15 to 20 knots elsewhere. Seas 5 to 8 feet, subsiding to 5 to
