...A GUST FRONT WITH 30 KT WINDS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm...

At 553 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front capable of 
producing winds to around 30 knots. This gust front was located 
along a line extending from near Surf City to Oak Island, moving 
east at 20 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Surf City to Wrightsville Beach to Carolina Beach and all locations 
out to 20 nautical miles from shore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally 
higher waves.
