...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM EST...

For the following areas...
Lake Huron from Presque Isle Lt. to Sturgeon Point  MI 5NM off shore
to US/Canadian border...

At 356 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts
was located 11 nm northwest of Northern Lake Huron Buoy, moving east
at 40 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Northern Lake Huron Buoy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
