...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Lake Huron from Presque Isle Lt. to Sturgeon Point  MI 5NM off shore
to US/Canadian border...

At 348 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts
was located 21 nm south of Northern Lake Huron Buoy, moving east at
45 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts possible, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and 
         small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
