A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Nearshore and Open Waters from St Joseph to Grand Haven MI...

At 1115 PM EDT, a buoy reported a gust front, producing winds to 
around 30 knots from the southwest. This front was located near 
South Haven, and moving north. Thunderstorms with cloud to water 
lightning strikes were also located over the waters of Lake Michigan 
between St Joseph and Holland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM EDT for southwestern
Michigan...and the adjacent waters of Lake Michigan.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
