The areas affected include...
  Lake Michigan Michigan City IN to St. Joseph MI 5 NM offshore to 
  mid-line of lake....
  Michigan City IN to New Buffalo MI...
  New Buffalo MI to St Joseph MI...

At 952 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing 
winds to around 40 knots. These showers were located along a line 
extending from 22 nm northwest of New Buffalo to 19 nm east of 
Valparaiso, moving northeast at 35 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
