Lake Michigan Michigan City IN to St. Joseph MI 5 NM offshore to
mid-line of lake....
Michigan City IN to New Buffalo MI...
New Buffalo MI to St Joseph MI...

At 1159 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line extending from 8 nm east of Waukegan Harbor
to near Indiana Harbor to 11 nm southwest of Hammond Marina, moving
east at 40 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and large hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could 
         result in structural damage.

Locations impacted include...
New Buffalo...St. Joseph...and Michigan City.
