...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Waters from Florence to Cape Blanco OR from 10 to 60 nm...

At 1144 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, 
capable of producing winds to around 35 knots and hail of around a 
half inch diameter. This thunderstorm was located 18 nm northwest of 
Cape Arago, moving northwest at 20 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
