The last upper air sounding conducted by the Radiosonde Replacement System (RRS) at the Weather Forecast Office City, ST occurred with the XXZ On Day Of Week MMM DD YYYY launch. Beginning with the XXZ ON DAY OF WEEK MMM DD YYYY launch, soundings are being conducted using the GRAW Manual Radiosonde Observing System (MROS) which uses the DFM-17 radiosonde. The header for City ST KXXX (Station ID XXXXX) has not changed with the introduction of MROS. The official header of the City Office will continue to be used for transmission of official products.
