The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Presque Isle County in northern Michigan...

* Until 500 PM EDT.
    
* At 435 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Metz, or 10 miles south of Rogers City, moving
  east at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Thompsons Harbor State Park around 450 PM EDT.
  Presque Isle Light and Presque Isle around 455 PM EDT.
