...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT TODAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Kansas and west central Kansas, 
  including the following counties, in southwest Kansas, Clark, 
  Finney, Ford, Gray, Haskell, Hodgeman, Kearny, Meade and Seward. 
  In west central Kansas, Scott.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. In a few 
  locations it may take several hours for all the water from these 
  storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 154 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
    warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Dodge City, Garden City, Scott City, Cimarron, Holcomb,
    Meade, Sublette, Montezuma, Minneola, Fowler, Pierceville,
    Copeland, Ingalls, Ensign, Bloom, Charleston, The Haggard
    Elev, Tice, Howell and Kalvesta.
