...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS 
EVENING FOR HICKMAN COUNTY...

At 852 PM CDT, heavy rain had moved out of the area, but additional 
lighter showers overnight may produce rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 
inches in the warned area. Flooding is expected to slowly subside 
over the next few hours.  Continue to heed any road closures.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Clinton, Fulgham and Columbus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
