For Pilot Point, these water levels may lead to minor flooding for buildings along Dago Creek Road. The strong winds will increase wave heights along the Bering Sea side of the Alaska Peninsula coast, leading to rough seas and high surf. The high surf and wave heights may lead to areas of coastal erosion and elevated water levels in low-lying areas, especially during the high tide cycle early this afternoon.
