  Waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC from 20 to 40 nm...

* Until 800 AM EST.

* At 734 AM EST, a shower capable of producing waterspouts was
  located 7 nm northeast of Mount Dirfy's Wreck, moving northeast at
  35 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas. Small 
           craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cape Fear Knuckle Buoy, School House Reef, and Mount Dirfy's Wreck.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
If caught on the open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions.
