* Special Marine Warning for...
  East Santa Barbara Channel from Pt. Conception to Pt. Mugu CA
  including Santa Cruz Island...
  Inner waters from Point Mugu to San Mateo Pt. CA including Santa
  Catalina and Anacapa Islands...

* Until 715 PM PST.

* At 508 PM PST, strong convective showers and possible thunderstorms were
  located between Rincon Point and the Santa Monica Bay. These storms have a
  history of weak rotation, capable of producing a waterspout. These storms
  were moving to the east and northeast at 15 to 20 knots. 

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas. Small 
           craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
           suddenly higher waves.

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous
seas. Seek safe harbor immediately.
