* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Cape Shoalwater WA to Cape Falcon OR out 10
  nm...
  Columbia River Bar...

* Until 500 PM PST.   

* At 436 PM PST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located over Columbia River Bar, or 7 nm south of
  Long Beach, moving northeast at 40 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ilwaco, Klipsan Beach, Long Beach, Columbia River Bar, Oysterville,
  Cape Disappointment, and Ocean Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
