...The Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center in Jackson has issued a 
BACKCOUNTRY AVALANCHE WATCH which is in effect until 5 AM MST 
Friday...

* WHAT...The avalanche danger for the warning area is expected
  rise to High tomorrow. Strong winds and heavy snow falling on
  weak layers in the snowpack will create widespread areas of
  unstable snow. Backcountry avalanche conditions are dangerous
  today and will become even more dangerous over the weekend.

* WHERE...Mountain ranges of Western Wyoming.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Natural and human-triggered avalanches large enough to
  bury people are almost certain to occur.

PRECAUTIONARY / PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Very dangerous avalanche conditions will exist beginning Friday. 
Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended. Stay off of and 
out from below steep slopes—slopes steeper than about 30 degrees. 
Avalanches may be triggered remotely—from flat terrain above, 
below, and to the sides of steep slopes. Natural and human-
triggered avalanches may run long distances and may impact gentler
terrain below.
