...RESUSPENDED ASH FROM VSEVIDOF AND OKMOK VOLCANOES EXPECTED 
OVER NIKOLSKI...

Northeasterly winds with gusts to 25 mph have developed across
Umnak Island. The loose volcanic ash and dust on the surface may 
carry over to Nikolski. Resuspended ash will lead to hazy 
conditions and may also lead to trace amounts of ash accumulation.

Those with respiratory ailments in these areas are encouraged to 
avoid or reduce outdoor activities to avoid inhaling the ash. The 
winds are expected to diminish starting Saturday morning, which 
should allow for any ash to settle out of the air.
