...ICE STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Light to moderate snow with occasional sleet mixed in 
  through early this evening.

* WHERE...Calloway, Christian, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Trigg Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Extremely hazardous travel conditions, isolated power 
  outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...


Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutely 
necessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden 
changes in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and the 
motorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your 
destination. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration, and be especially 
cautious on hills or when making turns. Make sure your car is 
winterized and in good working order.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western 
  Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST /7 PM EST/ this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel is very difficult and impossible in many 
  locations. Life-threatening cold exacerbates the danger.
