SOUTHWESTERN SPALDING...FAYETTE...MERIWETHER...NORTHWESTERN PIKE...
TROUP AND EASTERN COWETA COUNTIES...

At 1124 AM EST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Cannongate to Sharpsburg to near Luthersville to near
LaGrange, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
LaGrange, Fayetteville, Greenville, Peachtree City, Tyrone, Senoia,
Hogansville, Grantville, Pine Mountain, Luthersville, Brooks,
Moreland, Sharpsburg, Turin, Haralson, Woolsey, Lone Oak, Gay,
Mountville, and Starrs Mill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 PM EST for west central
Georgia.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

building.
