...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM CST
FOR EASTERN ST. MARY AND SOUTHEASTERN ST. MARTIN PARISHES...

At 1217 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Albany to 9 miles south of Patterson, moving east
at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Morgan City, Patterson, Berwick, Stephensville, Burns Point, Bayou
Vista, Ellerslie, Amelia, Patterson Memorial Airport, Pierre Part,
and Centerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CST for south central
Louisiana.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

building.
