The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
  Central Otero County in southeastern Colorado...
  Northwestern Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado...
  Southeastern Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado...
  Northwestern Bent County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 600 PM MST.

* At 512 PM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
  extending from near Cheraw to near Rocky Ford to 15 miles northwest
  of Delhi, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to 
           blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts 
           up to 20 mph.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous 
           within minutes.

This will impact Highway 10 and Highway 50 from Rocky Ford to Las 
Animas.

Locations impacted include...
La Junta, North La Junta, Rocky Ford, Las Animas, Swink, Cheraw, and
Timpas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.
