...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST THIS EVENING
FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR A PORTION OF NORTHEAST
GEORGIA...

* AFFECTED AREA...Rabun and Habersham.

* TIMING...Through 6 PM EST.

* WINDS...Northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent.

* IMPACTS...Due to low humidity and breezy winds, in addition to 
  dry fuels and ongoing significant drought conditions, any 
  fires that develop could spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is 
  strongly discouraged.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, .or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
