SWISHER AND BRISCOE COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 PM CDT...

At 1148 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong 
thunderstorms over the northern Rolling Plains and far southeastern 
Texas Panhandle, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Childress, Floydada, Memphis, Silverton, Matador, Turkey, Caprock
Canyon State Park, Lockney, Quitaque, Cee Vee, South Plains,
Claytonville, Dougherty, Mackenzie Reservoir, Brice, Valley Schools,
Flomot, Tell, Northfield, and Estelline.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Light accumulations of small hail will be possible. Consider moving
to a sturdy shelter until this storm passes.
