...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 PM CDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR CENTRAL PHILLIPS COUNTY...

At 1128 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
heavy rain across the warned area. Most of the heavy rainfall is 
moving east of the warned area, but significant runoff is expected 
to result in flash flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have 
already fallen with additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch. Flash 
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Elaine, Helena-West Helena, St Francis National Park, White River 
  National Wildlife Refuge, Watkins Corner, Lake View, Wabash, Ewal, 
  Oneida, Hoop Spur, Modoc, Trenton, Kingtown, Gobell, Spring Creek, 
  Westover, Lambrook, Preston Place, Wycamp and Ratio.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
