...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM CDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR CALLOWAY COUNTY...

At 213 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding resulted in 
the closure of N 16th Street in Murray. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of 
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are 
possible in the warned area this evening. Flash flooding is already 
occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Murray, Hazel, New Concord, Kirksey and Harris Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
