...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EST THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR GREENVILLE COUNTY...

At 1118 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
2.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 
1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is 
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Both the Reedy and Brushy Creek are flooding.  Continue to remain 
wary of flooding throughout Greater Greenville into the afternoon as 
heavy rain moves through the region.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
