...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST THIS EVENING 
FOR CHEROKEE AND UNION SC COUNTIES...

At 515 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated that the threat for 
additional heavy rain had ended.  Excessive runoff will continue to 
route through smaller streams and any flooding will be increasingly 
limited to the Broad River as the evening wears on.  This warning 
will expire on schedule.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become 
unstable and unsafe.
