...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM CDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR SCHLEICHER AND SUTTON COUNTIES...

At 1107 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
moderate rain along and east of 277. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain 
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.75 inches are 
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Sonora, Eldorado, Us-277 Near The Sutton-Schleicher County Line, 
  The Intersection Of I-10 And Ranch Road 1989, The Intersection Of 
  Ranch Road 1828 And Ranch Road 915, The Intersection Of Us-190 And 
  Ranch Road 1828, The Intersection Of Us-190 And Ranch Road 2084, 
  Adams and The Intersection Of Us-277 And Ranch Road 189.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 381 and 410.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are 
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded 
roads. Find an alternate route.
