The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Desha County in southeastern Arkansas...
  Eastern Drew County in southeastern Arkansas...

* Until 800 AM CDT.

* At 514 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen over the past hour. More thunderstorms are expected to 
  continue to move over these same areas...with additional heavy 
  rainfall expected. As a result...flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Rohwer, Arkansas City, Tillar, Winchester, McGehee, Lucca Landing, 
  Prairie Grove, Reed, Jerome, Baxter, Masonville, Halley, McArthur, 
  Collins and Selma.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
