The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Apache County in northeastern Arizona...

* Until 600 PM MST.

* At 350 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain within the warned area. Earlier between 1.5 and 3 
  inches of rainfall was estimated by radar. Flow from this earlier 
  rain is headed toward Lyman Lake. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water
           crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Springerville, Lyman Lake State Park and Lyman Lake.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
	Lyman Lake Campground.

This includes the following highways...
	Highway 60 between mile markers 378 and 383.
	 Highway 180 191 between mile markers 380 and 393.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
  Vigil Run, Coyote Creek, Carnero Creek and Little Colorado River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will 
become muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could 
become flooded as well.
